Composite wood decking combines the best of both worlds, bringing together the durable, low maintenance qualities of plastic with the natural appeal of wood-fibres to create a strong, future proof decking material which lasts years longer than traditional wood decking.

Our composite wood decking is built to withstand the elements, simply put, it won’t rot, mould, warp or suffer from scratches typically associated with regular wood decking.

During the planning stage, make sure you factor in potential wastage. We recommend including an additional 10% of materials.

If you are including diagonal decking in your installation, include an extra 15% decking material to incorporate additional wastage.

Make sure that there is no more than 30cm between each of your decking support joists. If you need to use butt joints, then use double joints for these.

Make sure you leave a suitable gap at the butt joints in-case of any expansion.

To achieve a straighter, cleaner edge on your decking, use a straight board when trimming your decking edge. You'll be really pleased with the results!

Ensure that your environment is as clean and tidy as possible during installation to reduce un-wanted debris, dust and dirt build-up.
